Does a tooth bridge come with a guarantee as mine has come out 4 times and been told I will have to pay again

I had a bridge fitted, and within a few weeks it fell out. It has been put back four times and still comes out. Changed dentist at practice and he told me it would need doing again, but would have to be done by the original dentist. Saw her today and she has told me I will have to pay nhs charge of £190.00 surely the original bridge should have some guarantee as it has never fitted correctly in the first place?

WOW, she won't do anything to help you. Here at my office we have a guarantee for 1 year, depending on the situation. If the patient broke the bridge then they would have to pay for a new one. But what it sounds like to me is that it never fit & should have been sent back to their lab right away to be redone. How long have you had it now? They may be able to try a different kind of cement for the bridge too.
