Sweet 16 help! Please!?
Ok, so I am going to be hosting my sweet 16 birthday party which is going to be in May, I know its a long way off, but my mom said I should start planning, and I need to get ideas now. I was wondering if you invite guys to it. Cause I have no idea. I would like to, but I am not sure if you do or not. Anyway, I need help choosing a theme. I am going to have it at my house, and down in my basement, which is really large. Down there we have a jukebox, 4 t.vs, and a pinball machine. I was deciding on a Chocolate sweet 16, or a Luau party, or a Rock in roll theme. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do, and any games? Please help! Thanks!
Oh sweeeet! Yes invite guys! Do a retro theme! 70's theme or rock n roll. You should buy fancy 'retro' cups and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in them with either root beer, orange, cream soda or grape crush to make a float and hand them out as they arrive! Then let everyone keep the cups at the end if they want to. you should get the shiney coloured bead necklaces or something that would be flashy with all the lights to hand out too. just to make it more fun. i'd get a strobe light or like the disco ball lights that have a variety of coloured lights flashing out of it. get some good dance beats [maybe with videos to put on one of the tvs too] going on one end of the basement with the lights and on the other can be the pinball end with maybe some couches and what not for people to chill out and talk. i'd also get a mirror in the basement if you dont already have one. girls are always checking their makeup and hair at parties lol.
