Black Head

can coldsores start with like a black head?

well, i started with like a raised skin coloured bump with like an indented black head, i scratched it off and now i have a big red bloody mess, which is circular but only slighly bigger than the original spot. it is not dry skin, it is quite moist. was this a blackhead or a coldsore?? please help me! i dont want herpess.
