Could someone answer question on Wii Pinball game?
For flipper control if you have two remotes can you use one hand for each flipper or left and right separate controls.and would appreciate your opinion of pin ball game you have. Kindly mention game. So far found two Wii Pin ball Games. Thanks Did the search reviews so links won't be helpful.
Get the pinball hall of fame game (gottlieb). I have played many pinball games on many systems and the pinball hall of fame series are the ones that I enjoy the most, the physics of every other game is messed up in some way or another. The game also comes with about 10 tables, and they are real tables so it is great. I also have the alien crush returns wii-ware game but that took me like 10-15 minutes to finish the entire game (you kill aliens with pinballs), and is some good fun but is understandably unrealistic. Don't touch Dream Pinball, it's a piece of dog doodoo.
You use the wii-mote and nunchuck, one in each hand, and the triggers are the flippers. If you want to nudge the table you jerk left or right. It works quite well, but I don't think the sensor for how hard you jerk the table left or right is precise, it bumps the table the correct direction, but it will bump just as hard no matter what. Also, you have your choice of 8 different views so you can either see the full table or zoom in on the ball or whatever your preference may be.
Get pinball hall of fame if you really enjoy playing pinball, it is the best I've played on the wii.
My absolute favorite is still pinball hall of fame for xbox which I can play on my xbox 360, but only because I can control how hard I bump the table by pushing the stick a little more or a little less (the ps2 version is the same). I also like the feeling of the flipper buttons being a little more 'mounted' because they are attached on the 360 controller. If the wii version only had more precision on the table bump I would say it is pretty close to really playing the table if you keep your arms at the right place though.
I actually own gottlieb on the xbox and williams on the wii, but I prefer the gottlieb tables, though that is personal preference. Just stick with either pinball hall of fame game and you'll be good.
